MAYA HED / A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON 13.11.-13.12.2011

Following great success showcasing this exhibit at The Hava Rosenberg Gallery Maya Hed will present her project at The Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv where most of the photographs were taken.

Robert Matzke (geb. 1972 in Dresden) dipl.Design, arbeitet und lebt, hauptsächlich von Illustrationsaufträgen, in Münster.
Auftrag, das heißt Termine, das heißt Stress, das heißt Geschwindigkeit, denn Zeit ist schließlich Geld. Diesem beschränkenden Wahnsinn zu entkommen,
bedarf es immer wieder neuer Zwischenstopps, die sich Matzke mit 
zahlreichen Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland immer wieder gönnte 
und auch die jetzige reiht sich hier nahtlos ein.


STROKE ARTFAIR 14.-16.10.2011 / REMINDER

A FEW DAYS LEFT. The urban environment and the corresponding lifestyle can be counted amongst the fundamental sources of inspiration for contemporary culture. This historical revolution of visual forms of expression, in which the designs of the everyday streetscape, with its graffiti, tags, tattoos, advertising or graphic design found their sustenance, define the progression of contemporary art.

SO UNDEAD 03.10.11 / EXHIBITION

So Undead! is an exhibit about making connections between seemingly unrelated genres: Extreme Guitar Music ie. Punk, Metal and HC and the endless shades of Electronica. The art that will be shown at the event is wholly based on interviews conducted with artists, who in the past have dabbled in guitar distortion and are currently masters of the art of the synthetic.

D`ACCORD 24.09.-06.10.11 / EXHIBITION

The exhibition d.accord–curated by the Berlin-based artist duo 44flavours–Julio Rölle and Sebastian Bagge – shows how a seemingly random mixture of typography, painting, photography, graphic-design and installation works by 13 international artists/collectives can become a coherent and harmonious whole.
